Paddy growth - preventing droughts and floods

Paddy growth - preventing droughts and floods
According to the wide range and intensity of rain forecast by the meteorological department, some areas may experience rapid drought and flooding. Once flood damage occurs, it is important to drain the water in time to restore soil permeability, nourish the roots and protect the leaves, and promote the growth of flooded crops.

Resist flooding and drainage. For low-lying flood-prone areas, dredge ditches in time to remove water from the fields and apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer to promote root and plant growth recovery.

Wash and support seedlings. For waterlogged fields, do drainage while washing the seedlings to support and restore them as early as possible. Combine drainage or splashing water to wash seedlings and remove rotten and yellow leaves. After the water has receded, correct the plants in time to promote the recovery of growth.
