If you are still using chemical fertilizer...

Chemical fertilizers do not contain organic matter, humus, so the use of large amounts of chemical fertilizers, soil due to the lack of organic matter and humus, soil granular structure was destroyed, resulting in soil consolidation, agricultural plant yield decline.

1. fertilizer utilization rate is low, nitrogen fertilizer because of easy volatility, loss, utilization rate of only 30%-50%, phosphate fertilizer utilization rate of only 10%-25%, because phosphate chemical activity is active, after application into the soil, most of the phosphorus and soil Zn2+Mg2+Ca2+Fe3+Al3+ and other cations combined to form insoluble phosphate fertilizer. The utilization rate of potassium is also only about 50%.

2. The massive use of chemical fertilizers makes the quality of vegetables and fruits greatly reduced. As crops not only need nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, but also need calcium, iron, zinc and selenium and many other trace elements, and chemical fertilizers generally have a single composition, so the long-term use of chemical fertilizers will inevitably lead to nutrients contained in the soil tends to be a single, easy to crop nutrient disorders, resulting in crop internal transformation synthesis blocked, will inevitably lead to a decline in crop quality, melon is not sweet, vegetables do not smell.

3. Harmful to human health. Mass application of fertilizers, easy to make vegetables in the nitrate content exceeds the standard, and nitrite and amines combined to form N-nitroso compounds for strong carcinogenic substances.

The massive use of chemical fertilizers also causes the death of beneficial bacteria and earthworms in the soil. The long-term inefficient application of chemical fertilizers often causes excessive accumulation of certain elements in the soil and changes in the physical and chemical properties of the soil and environmental pollution. From the massive use of chemical fertilizers worldwide, the more chemical fertilizers are used, the more the ground strength decreases, and the more dependent on chemical fertilizers, thus forming a vicious circle.
