Four tips for farmers as fertiliser prices soar

Four tips for farmers as fertiliser prices soar

Farmers are faced with rising fertiliser prices because of the constant rise in fertiliser prices. So how can we buy fertiliser and use it correctly? Here are a few suggestions for your reference only.

1. Be sure to get out of the misconception of using only nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium

Because the soil is now particularly poor, fertilisers containing only nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are not sufficient to ensure normal plant growth. Therefore, in addition to the three elements of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, it is important to replenish the soil with the missing trace elements, various acidic mediators such as humic acid, amino acids and micro-organisms that repair the soil environment.

2. The higher the NPK content, the better the fertiliser

The higher the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content, the more the crop will not be able to absorb all the fertiliser, and the remaining nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium will be deposited into the soil, leading to soil caking.

Crop fertilisation is based on the three principles of balance, which can be summarised as follows: what is missing, how much is missing and when is missing.

3. Buy fertilisers containing microbial bacteria

Microbial bacteria can effectively degrade residues and harmful substances in the soil, loosen the soil, release heat during the degradation process, raise the ground temperature and effectively relieve the residues of pesticides in the soil. In addition part of the microbial fungicide also has the function of killing and repelling underground pests, which is saving money in terms of the percentage of input because we use less pesticide.

4. Buy compound multifunctional fertilisers

Compound multifunctional fertilisers, such as npk20-20-20 with trace elements, are the best choice at the moment and can have the ability to repair the soil environment, improve fertility, ensure all the nutrients needed in the plant growth process, while improving soil pH and replenishing the missing microflora in the soil. It loosens up the soil, makes it breathable, locks in water and finally achieves a high yield.

The most intuitive manifestation of npk20-20-20 with trace elements is that the plants retain their greenness exceptionally well, have a well-developed root system, are able to improve the soil environment effectively, have strong disease resistance in the stems, and have full fruit seeds with good maturity and resistance to adversity to achieve increased yields and harvests. Using npk20-20-20 with micronutrient fertiliser adds 180kg of fertility, far more than the 200kg of other fertilisers! And significantly improves crop yield and quality! It's worth buying!
